For Richard, a defining milestone was purchasing the company’s dedicated building in Bothwell in 2021. Naming it after their house where it all began in 1986 in Northfield, Edinburgh. This allowed the business to literally put its stamp on its own piece of ground. This move paved the way for increased stock, a growing headcount, and a truly great working environment for the team he loves to support every day.
As head of Operations at Mannering Industrial Shona keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes day to day. Acting as the link between strategy and execution, she oversees everything from technology integration and quality control to Health & Safety and HR.
Above all else, Shona is passionate about the Mannering team and helping create a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and motivated to do their best work every day.
Michael is the co-director of Mannering Industrial alongside his brother Richard. He directs our day-to-day office operations with total focus, managing high-volume client accounts over the phone, through email and often in person while consistently delivering rapid, high-impact procurement solutions.
